What You'll Do:
As a Host/Hostess, you are the face of our restaurant and play a critical role in the guest experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and Seating Guests: Warmly welcoming all guests and promptly seating them at the appropriate tables.
- Managing Wait Times and Tables: Accurately quoting wait times and efficiently managing the flow of the dining room using our seating system, ensuring quick table turnover.
- Maintaining the Host Stand Area: Keeping the front entrance and host station clean and organized.
- Supporting the Dining Room:
- Delivering pitchers of water to tables as needed.
- Dropping off menus and informing guests of any specials.
- Assisting in light table cleaning (wiping down tables and chairs) to ensure quick turnover.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are a must.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person!
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
