About Rollers

Rollers is a new sports bar concept from the team behind Pizza Marvin and Club Frills, part of Littleneck Hospitality, led by James Beard-recognized talent and passionate industry veterans.

Rollers is looking for a General Manager who knows that running a great restaurant is equal parts leadership, hospitality, discipline, instinct, and controlled chaos.

We are a new sports bar in downtown Providence built around great food, big games, cold drinks, and the kind of 1980s and 1990s nostalgia that makes people argue passionately about their favorite wrestler, quarterback, arcade game, or movie soundtrack.

But nostalgia alone does not fill a restaurant.

We need a General Manager who can turn Rollers into the place people think of first—for lunch, after-work drinks, major sporting events, fantasy drafts, private parties, and a Friday night that was supposed to be “just one drink.”

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can build a team, grow a business, protect standards, and still notice when a guest has been waiting too long for a refill.

The Role

We want a General Manager who can balance creativity with strong systems.

You’ll be a key leader in launching and shaping the restaurant brand, working alongside an experienced Chef. An industry veteran who wants to build a culture of authentic hospitality and high fives. "If it's not a hell yeah, it's a hell no."

You will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of Rollers, including the guest experience, team culture, financial results, operating standards, and overall energy of the restaurant.

You will be expected to lead from the floor—not from behind a closed office door.

On any given day, you may be:

• Coaching a manager through a difficult conversation
• Reviewing labor before it becomes a problem
• Helping the kitchen prepare for a major game
• Working with marketing to promote an upcoming event
• Meeting with a company planning a private party
• Checking that every television is showing the right game
• Recognizing a regular guest before they have to introduce themselves
• Jumping behind the bar, at the host stand, or onto the floor when the team needs you

You do not need to do every job every day. You do need to understand every job and be willing to support the people doing it.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have meaningful restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, bar, sports venue, or entertainment-driven concept.
• Understand restaurant financials and can explain what labor, food cost, beverage cost, check average, sales mix, and prime cost mean in actual practice.
• Are comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for their outcomes.
• Can hold high standards without treating employees like machinery.
• Communicate directly, calmly, and respectfully—even when the restaurant is busy.
• Notice details but you do not lose sight of the larger business.
• Posses and ability to create structure without draining the personality out of the place.
• Are energized by building something, rather than simply maintaining what already exists.
• Genuinely like guests, employees, restaurants, sports, or ideally some combination of the four.
