We are seeking an experienced, dual-licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer to oversee the day-to-day operations of a funeral home and cemetery location.
This is a working manager position. You will lead staff, serve families, and remain actively involved in the work and community.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and personnel
- Meet with families and direct services with professionalism and care
- Oversee the condition and maintenance of the facility, vehicles, and equipment
- Handle reporting, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Represent the organization within the local community
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
You will remain involved in removals, embalming, and services as needed
Qualifications
- Dual licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
