Available Schedules

Mon-Thurs, 5A-3:30P (OT as needed) OR Mon-Thurs, 3P-1:30A

Overtime hours, as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll Form machine and other machines, as needed (i.e. power presses, plate rolls, brakes, and computer numerically controlled equipment) to bend, roll, ream or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• In a safe manner and following all safety protocols, install, align, and lock specific punches, dies, cutting blades or other fixtures in rams or beds of machine, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
• Correctly measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specification s, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, tape measurer, ect.
• Perform required quality checks to identify defects and take action to ensure bad parts are not packaged.
• Correctly interpret and/or write work orders & production schedules to ensure flow of machine, materials needed are obtained, tools needed are obtained
• Correctly and safely test and adjust machine speeds and timing.
• Consistently follow all Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out procedures for all changeovers, repairs, cleanings, etc.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background/aptitude is required
• Proficient use of hand and power tools
• Mechanical background (i.e. small engine repair)
• Experience using calipers
• Experience running manufacturing machinery (i.e. Roll Mill, Press Machine, etc.)
• Good hand and eye coordination
• Must be able to maintain steady pace throughout the day
• Must be able to meet production standards
• Must be able to meet attendance standards
• Ability to follow written work instructions.
• Must be capable of using various measuring devices as necessary for verifying dimensions, hole locations, etc. of parts.

Position Requirements

Visual and Hearing: Must be able to see with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance, wearing hearing protection. 

Must wear required PPE (hearing protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, safety glasses) when on shop floor.

Standing, walking; repetitive movement; bending or twisting; exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable; meeting strict deadlines; responsibility for the health and safety of others and wearing of protective or safety equipment. Must be able to pass background and drug screen. Must be able to meet attendance standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
