JOB TITLE/LOCATION:Corporate Accountant – Oxford, CT Principal Responsibilities:Prepare and process monthly journal entriesReconcile general ledger accountsAssist with monthly close processesPrepare financial and statistical reports as requiredAssist with internal audit compliance requirements and testingCompile and provide support for quarterly and annual reviews and auditsAssist with preparations and review SEC reporting documents and/or supportSpecial projects, including travel to Europe as requiredAttendance at work is an essential function of the job EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting required EXPERIENCE:Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and understanding of SEC reporting requirementsExperience consolidating intercompany financial reportsSKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:French SpeakingCertification as a Certified Public Accountant or an interest in obtaining certificationDetail-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyStrong analytical and technical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, and company matched 401k plan.
