Over the Road transporting freight long distance. Safely haul cargo over long distances, ensuring it arrives on schedule. Follow strict Federal Motor Carrier Safely Administration (FMSCA) hours-of-service regulations, utilizing ELD to track driving time and rest breaks. Conduct routine pre-trips. mid-trips, and post-trips truck inspections to guarantee the truck and trailer are roadworthy and complaint with DOT rules. Coordinate with dispatch, maintain constant communication with dispatchers, brokers, and customers regarding delivery updates, delays, or mechanical issues. Map out routes, manage fuel stops and cost, and find safe parking at truck stops or company terminals.
Pay: $1,242.00 - $1,500.00 per week
