How You’ll Be Contributing: Essential duties and responsibilities: • Lead daily receiving operations, including scheduling inbound deliveries and prioritizing workload
- Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against packing lists, BOLs, and purchase orders
- Oversee unloading, staging, and put-away processes to ensure timely and efficient product flow
- Ensure proper use of RF scanners and accurate system updates
- Train, coach, and support receiving team members
- Monitor receiving accuracy and productivity metrics; escalate discrepancies when needed
- Communicate effectively with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse leadership regarding issues or delays
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock area
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory investigations as required
- Ensure all safety protocols and SOPs are followed at all times
- Prior lead or team-leadership experience is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of receiving processes, documentation, and inventory systems
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable means of transportation to and from the job site
