Entry Level Software Engineer - Hillsboro, Oregon

We are currently expanding our development teams to create the next generation of voice communication systems for the ATC market. Your tasks

• Review software requirements for testability.
• Write software test procedures and test cases.
• Oversee execution of automated test plans and creation of software test reports.
• Operate test systems to execute functional test cases and collect debugging information.
• Work alongside senior engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Work with distributed R&D teams based in North America and Europe.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.
• Entry-level relevant work experience. Internship experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand and test complex software systems in formal SW development lifecycles.
• Willingness to learn software development and testing for safety critical applications.
• Experience in scripting with Python is required.
• Experience with Linux OS development environments and Virtualization platforms.
• Familiar with DevOps processes and tools (TeamCity, GitLab, Jenkins) is desired.
• Knowledge of programming with C, C , PHP, SQL, QT QML, and Rust is desired.
• Experience with VoIP protocols SIP and RTP is desired.
• Occasional travel within U.S. and to international locations.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English.

The total compensation for this position is $80K-110K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
