Veterinary Technician – Emergency Veterinary Hospital
Base Pay: $19.50 – $24.50 per hour
- $2/hr weekend differential
- $3/hr overnight differential
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Schedule:
- Full-time: 3 x 13-hour shifts
- Clinic Hours: Friday–Monday | 24 hours

Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams, emergency procedures, and surgeries
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures and recovery
- Perform imaging, laboratory testing, and medication administration under supervision
- Accurately document medical records and client communications
- Provide hands-on patient care, including feeding, monitoring vitals, and assessing behavior
- Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the hospital
- Support inventory management and equipment readiness
- Provide excellent client service, including billing and payment processing
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient hospital operations

Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician experience preferred; all qualified candidates encouraged to apply
- Interest or experience in emergency, critical care, surgery, anesthesia, and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
