What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide driving services for residents and guests for medical appointments, errands, outings, special events, and other destinations in support of a progressive, resident‑centered customer service model.
- Operate community vehicles, including small passenger buses and wheelchair lifts, in a safe and professional manner in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and PRS standards.
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading walkers and wheelchairs, while approaching all interactions with courtesy and professionalism.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections, minor preventive maintenance, maintain interior cleanliness of vehicles, and report any damage, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in required training, remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures, and act calmly and appropriately during emergency situations.
- Minimum of one year of experience driving cars, buses, or providing transportation services, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet PRS employment driver guidelines.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A, B, or C and DOT medical certificate preferred.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
