The Engineering Manager is responsible for building, scaling, and continuously improving the engineering capabilities that enable Rogue’s manufacturing and distribution operations. The Engineering Manager owns all aspects of engineering support for operations, excluding product design.

Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize safety, quality, efficiency, and capacity initiatives across Manufacturing and Distribution; track and report impact for major initiatives
- Identify, scope, and deliver engineering projects that improve operational performance and drive measurable business results
- Partner with Operations and Quality to investigate issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Evaluate, justify, and deploy manufacturing and warehouse equipment and technologies, including capital investment decisions
- Make data-driven recommendations to leadership for performance improvement
- Build, lead, and develop the Engineering team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability development
- Establish and own key engineering and operational metrics aligned to business outcomes
- Develop and standardize manufacturing, warehouse, and engineering processes to support scalable growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to resolve systemic issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- MBA strongly preferred, ideally from a top-tier program, with demonstrated ability to apply business and financial concepts in an operational environment
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing or operations engineering, including leadership responsibility
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong foundation in safety, quality systems, and continuous improvement
- Experience evaluating and delivering capital projects with clear operational and financial impact
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment and make sound decisions with imperfect information
