Senior Property Accountant

Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing Real Estate company on a new Senior Property Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting a residential real estate portfolio, strong experience using Yardi, and some month-end-close experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of residential properties.
• Support month-end-close, posting journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Complete hands-on General Ledger work.
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Mentor junior staff as needed.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the Yardi platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting/ Finance.
• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong real estate industry background, ideally within residential real estate.
• Strong Yardi experience needed.
• Previous support of the month-end-close.
• Strong attention to deatial and communication skills.
