Roessel Joy has partnered with a growing Real Estate company on a new Senior Property Accountant role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting a residential real estate portfolio, strong experience using Yardi, and some month-end-close experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of residential properties.
- Support month-end-close, posting journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Complete hands-on General Ledger work.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Mentor junior staff as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the Yardi platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting/ Finance.
- 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong real estate industry background, ideally within residential real estate.
- Strong Yardi experience needed.
- Previous support of the month-end-close.
- Strong attention to deatial and communication skills.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
