What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Roessel Joy?
We are partnering with a great client in the Medford, MA area that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team. This is a full-cycle AP Accounting role in a high-volume environment. This role allows one day WFH per week.
Responsibilities
- Review and record high-volume invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
- Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
- Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
Qualifications
- 1-3 years in Accounts Payable experience
- High-volume Accounts Payable experience
- Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Compensation: $28-35/hour depending on experience
