General Description:

• Plan, organize, and manage resources for a 3-shift x 7-day production facility.
• Ensure all personnel are following safety guidelines and working in a safe manner.
• Oversee and manage all production processes. This includes Injection, assembly and testing operations.
• Provide direction, leadership, and development opportunities to the production team through communication, training, and setting the example.
• Directly manage all production leaders and indirectly influence, Technical, Quality, Logistics and Launch associates in support of a smooth-running operation.
• Monitor and manage daily execution of the production schedule to ensure customer requirements are met on time. Work in conjunction with all departments to meet this requirement.
• Monitor and manage monthly KPIs to ensure goals are met. Implement corrective actions to meet set targets.
• Implement and Adhere to 5S Standards.
• Identify and lead improvement activities for the manufacturing processes by building cross functional and inter-departmental teams to accomplish the tasks.
• Manage and direct projects to completion in a timely manner.
• Control and minimize overtime.
• Work in conjunction with the quality department to insure QRQC points are followed through to completion using proper root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Maintain effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills in motivating direct reports.
• Other duties as needed.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, automotive industry.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership or production management role supervising production teams or supervisors.
• Strong experience overseeing Injection Molding, assembly, and testing operations.
• Experience managing 24/7 or 3-shift production facilities.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules and ensure on-time delivery to customer requirements.
• Experience tracking and improving manufacturing KPIs and operational performance metrics.
• Knowledge and implementation of 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods (e.g., QRQC).
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Logistics, Technical) with excellent communication and leadership skills.
