Bilingual Legal Assistant (Personal Injury Law Firm)

Roebuck Law Firm is a fast-growing Personal Injury Law Firm dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients. As such, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in assisting our Firm's Case Managers in providing excellent customer service to our English and Spanish speaking clients.

Position Overview:

The Bilingual Legal Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to the smooth operation of our firm, including:

• Case File Organization: Ensuring all case files are properly organized and documents are saved in the correct locations within our system.
• Medical Records Management: Obtaining and organizing medical records and bills and ensuring that we are not missing bills and records from any providers.
• Insurance Follow-Ups: Communicating with insurance adjusters to follow up on correspondence and case status.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Scheduling meetings with clients, adjusters, attorneys, and other key appointments.
• Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive support to case managers and attorneys.
• Team Player Duties: Serving as a back-up receptionist and assisting with other tasks as needed to contribute to the success of the team.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required, including the ability to effectively communicate with Spanish speaking clients regarding medical and legal terminology is a mandatory for this position.
• 2 years of experience working in a pre-litigation department of a personal injury law firm.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and phases during pre-litigation.
• Proficiency in case management software, Filevine.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
