Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle food safely and adhere to health regulations regarding food preparation and storage.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Manage inventory of breakfast supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere by engaging with guests and responding to their inquiries.
Skills
- Kitchen experience is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for processing transactions.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in the dining area.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in guest services is beneficial.
- Cooking skills, including meal preparation and knife skills for food handling.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Customer service orientation with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
