RODAC specializes in high-end medical facilities, industrial, franchise and specialty retail, commercial buildings and land development.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will work closely with our accounting and finance team to support day-to-day accounting functions while also providing general administrative support to the office.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to assist wherever needed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and customer billing.
· Process daily deposits and accurately apply receipts to customer accounts.
· Monitor and organize the accounting department’s email inbox and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
· Review and reconcile A/P invoices to ensure accurate payment processing.
· Assist with reconciling company credit card statements and reviewing transactions for accuracy.
· Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies as needed.
· Maintain organized accounting records and filing systems.
· Assist with preparing financial reports and other accounting documentation.
· Help update and document accounting processes and procedures.
· Greet customers, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
· Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and route information to the appropriate team members.
· Assist with special projects as needed.
· Provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience is preferred but not required.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work accurately and maintain confidential information.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· QuickBooks experience is a plus.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
· Positive, professional attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation
- $20-$24/hour based on experience
