Rod's Quality Collision Center is looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
Skills
- Proven experience as auto mechanic
- Ability to work with various mechanical and electrical components of vehicles
- Outstanding knowledge of vehicle systems and their functions
- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. wrenches) with care
- Willingness to submit to background checks
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship or on-the-job training will be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engine, transmission and other mechanical components and diagnose issues
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise drivers on good vehicle use
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Maintain accurate logs on work and repair sessions
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
