Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting, and irrigation system management
- Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
- Train and mentor crew members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Oversee construction projects such as planting beds, retaining walls, or outdoor installations when necessary
- Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspections and proper care to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address concerns or project updates
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of lawn care and gardening practices
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor maintenance or construction environments
- Knowledge of tree care practices and irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with horticultural principles, plant health management, and general garden maintenance
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to lead a team effectively and coordinate with clients or stakeholders
