What are the responsibilities and job description for the Candy Maker position at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory?
We're hiring for the position of candy maker! This is a part time position. Candy maker will cook caramel, fudge and other candies.
Working in both the kitchen and on the sales floor to assist in candy-making demonstrations, candy maker helpers must remain well-organized and energetic. The position entails long hours of standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds of product, and pushing or pulling up to 200 pounds. Interested candidates should remain able-bodied, especially in terms of physical stamina. Offered as both full- and part-time positions, candy maker helpers garner an average hourly pay at or slightly above minimum wage. Regular duties include maintaining work areas and following sanitation regulations, reading and following recipe directions, gathering ingredients, and monitoring the preparation process. Additionally, individuals hired to fill the position may receive cross training to assist in other departments of the company.
