Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all food handling and preparation areas
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours while maintaining quality standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food stocking, inventory management, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
- Support other team members with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a tidy environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is a plus
