Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer‑focused Sales and Installation Provider to manage the full in‑home customer experience—from sales consultation to installation—for Rockwood Shutters products.

This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional service while adhering to Rockwood and Home Depot standards.

Previous experience in window covering sales and installation is preferred. Skills in cabinetry, trim carpentry, or woodworking are a strong plus!

Requirements

· Vehicle & Transport:
Reliable transportation is a must. An enclosed trailer or high‑top cargo van is required for safe product transport.

· Technology:
A current‑generation iPad with cellular capability for electronic documentation and signatures.

· Tools:
Cordless drills, impact drivers, ladders, multi‑tools, hand tools, etc. A recommended tool list is provided; most craftsmen already possess most required items.

· Insurance & Documentation:
Contractor liability insurance, vehicle and trailer insurance, a clean driving record, and a valid state driver’s license.

· Communication:
A smartphone with a camera for photos and communication with the office as needed.

Responsibilities

· Operate as a 1099 Subcontractor.

· Complete in‑home sales consultations from leads provided by The Home Depot.

· Manage all measuring, installation, and warranty services within the assigned market area.

· Maintain valid Home Depot badges, required insurance, tools, and approved vehicles/trailers per Rockwood guidelines.

· Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, organization, and customer service.

· Successfully complete the required background check.
