What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parent Educator position at Rockwood School District?
$17.21 per hour. 20-27 hours per week.
Schedule to be determined
This position supports the mission of the Rockwood School District by delivering the Parents As Teachers program services. This includes home visits, providing and connecting families with resources, facilitating group connections, and assessing the development of young children. This position must plan and effectivley implement the PAT curriculum in accordance with state guidelines and the department's philosophy of education of young children and program goals/objectives.
Parent educator must be able to work variable hours including some nights and weekends.
Expierence
Certification in Elem. Ed., Early Childhood Ed., Home Economics/FAQs, Social Work and/or Counseling preferred.
Prefer experience working with young children and families.
