Qualified Professional (QP).
Position Summary:
The Qualified Professional (QP) provides therapeutic, rehabilitative, and skill-building services to individuals receiving Day Treatment services. The QP is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, documentation, and coordination of care to support clients’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions within a Day Treatment setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and treatment goals.
- Conduct assessments, progress reviews, and clinical evaluations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with families, schools, community providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide crisis intervention and behavior management as needed.
- Ensure services meet state, Medicaid, and agency standards.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health or behavioral needs.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s–related field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, or related field).
- Knowledge of treatment planning, clinical documentation, and service delivery standards.
- Ability to provide individual and group interventions.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage crisis situations and challenging behaviors appropriately.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
- Must pass background check.
