Overview
Rockwall Kia is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our high-performing service team. This role is critical to supporting technician productivity and delivering an exceptional customer experience by efficiently sourcing, ordering, and managing automotive parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist retail and service customers with parts inquiries, orders, and availability
- Create accurate quotes, invoices, and estimates using CDK software
- Coordinate daily with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts fulfillment
- Order parts from vendors and track shipments to meet service timelines
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory; maintain accurate perpetual inventory controls
- Process returns, warranties, and core credits
- Maintain a clean, organized parts counter and stockroom
- Deliver a professional, customer-first experience in person, over the phone, and via email
Qualifications
- Automotive parts department experience required
- Experience with CDK Drive or similar DMS preferred
- Kia or OEM dealership experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
