This client is a leader in the app-based fintech space, leveraging technology to deliver seamless and rewarding user experiences. Rockstar is supporting their search for a performance marketing expert to drive user acquisition and scale growth profitably.
Own paid acquisition and profitably scale for a leading fintech app. This is a hands-on buyer role responsible for planning, launching, and optimizing multi-channel campaigns, building and iterating landing pages and user flows, and leading creative production. The ideal candidate will have $100k /month budget ownership and strong fintech/app experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, buy, and optimize across Google (Search/UAC/YouTube), Meta (FB/IG), Apple Search Ads, TikTok/Snap, and programmatic DSPs (e.g., Moloco/Liftoff/TTD).
- Build and iterate landing pages and pre-landers; optimize onboarding flows (bank/debit link, eligibility).
- Write or brief creative (text, video/UGC, statics); direct designers/editors; run structured creative testing.
- Own tracking and attribution with MMP (Branch/AppsFlyer/Adjust), GA4, platform pixels; set up A/B tests and basic incrementality checks.
- Manage pacing, forecasting, and weekly reporting (CAC, payback, LTV/ROAS by cohort).
Must-Haves
- 2 years of user acquisition experience for consumer apps (fintech strongly preferred).
- Proven ownership of $100k /month spend with CAC/payback accountability.
- Hands-on experience in Google, Meta, Apple Search Ads, TikTok/Snap, Reddit, and DSPs.
- Experience building and optimizing landing pages and in-app funnels.
- Strong ad creative skills (copywriting, storyboarding, direction).
- Proficient with MMPs, GA4, spreadsheets; comfortable running fast experiments.
- Familiarity with app store and platform policies for financial services.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in EWA/cash advance/credit categories.
- App Store Optimization (keywords, CPPs, screenshots).
- Basic HTML/CSS/JS or experience with Webflow/Unbounce.
- SQL or experience with lightweight MMM/causal tools.
