Mechanic Dispatcher (PMI Department) – Santa Fe Springs, CA
Rockstar Recruiting is hiring a Mechanic Dispatcher for a well-established operation in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a key role overseeing the Preventive Maintenance & Inspections (PMI) department, supporting a team of mobile technicians in the field.
This is a swing shift position, working 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Monday - Friday.
You’ll be responsible for managing a team of 4–5 mobile technicians who handle inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repair work. This role plays a critical part in keeping customers compliant, schedules running efficiently, and work completed on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate and dispatch daily work for assigned mobile technicians
- Build and manage schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Track customer compliance requirements (including 90-day inspections) and proactively schedule upcoming services
- Review completed inspections and prepare estimates based on findings
- Send estimates to customers within 24 hours and follow up for approvals
- Review and close out work orders for accuracy and proper documentation
- Support field technicians with scheduling adjustments, job details, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and coverage
- Maintain strong customer communication with updates, reports, and recommendations

- Experience in dispatching, service coordination, or a mechanical/service environment is a strong asset

Compensation & Perks
- Salary: $70,000/year
- Monthly commissions totaling approximately $6,000–$12,000 annually
