What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial Plant position at Rockstar Mechanics?
We are seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Mechanic for immediate hire in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. This role will be responsible for maintaining a variety of production, processing, and packaging equipment in a food and beverage plant. Compensation:
- $30.94/hour to start shift premium.
- Yearly raise in Octobers.
- Company paid benefits and 401K/company match.
- Steady OT year round.
- Paid vacation and holidays.
Shift:
- 2nd shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm (variable days off).
Duties:
- Repair, maintain and trouble shoot equipment such as but not limited to: Fillers, Stackers, Casers, Tracks, Labelers, Conveyors, Blow molds, etc.).
- Monitor and maintain ammonia compressors, air compressors, boilers, condensers and chillers.
- Support the installation of new equipment
- Ensure all repairs are documented.
- Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Diagnosing, trouble shooting, servicing and repairing electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems/components in an industrial/manufacturing plant.
- High school diploma. Trade school or technical school training a plus.
- Knowledge of charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams.
- Able to use a variety of maintenance tools, hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in a safe manner
