The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. What We Do
- The Core Security team is a global group of programmers specializing in dedicated to designing, implementing, and delivering advanced anti-cheat and anti-piracy technologies
- The Core Security team collaborates with the broader development team to optimize game performance and ensure efficient use of system resources
- Manage and influence a team of software engineers, guiding them to build and maintain products using C
- Define team objectives and key results, create actionable plans to achieve them, and communicate progress through roadmaps to technical stakeholders
- Conduct performance reviews for team members, including regular check-ins to assess progress, give feedback, and realign priorities as needed
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of systems within the broader architecture
- Leverage the latest technical knowledge to guide the team in solving complex problems and driving successful outcomes
- 10 years of professional engineering experience, including 2 years in a management role
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively at all levels
- Demonstrated ownership, proactivity, and drive to achieve objectives while leading a team to success
- Leadership and managerial experience
- Expertise in C development, with a focus on writing highly performant and efficient code
- Experience working with shared codebases and source control platforms
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes
