We are seeking a high-energy and enthusiastic Field Sales Director to join our fast-growing and dynamic company, selling Rockpoint's products in person to personal injury law firms.
This role is boots-on-the-ground. You’ll own your territory, develop personal relationships with clients, and become a trusted presence in the community. You will represent Rockpoint at meetings, networking events, and office visits, with a strong focus on relationship-building and territory growth.
A fit for this position requires a charismatic, relatable, warm extrovert who thrives on face-to-face interaction and delivers a superior client experience through in-person communication. You should have a hunter mentality, be proactive, and passionate about helping clients succeed.
Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and develop new business opportunities outside of the existing portfolio, with strategic targets in key market segments.
- Conduct several weekly meetings with clients to uncover and understand their developing needs. Deliver results from these meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and manage sales pipeline, including contacts, opportunities, lead lists, activities, and account updates and notes in a proprietary database.
- Collaborate and problem-solve with sales support departments to maximize the sales team's potential and/or to resolve client issues to the satisfaction of both parties
- Able and willing to travel and/or work nights and weekends, as required, for participation in networking conferences, dinners, and activities related to relationship development.
- Monitor and share observations related to competitor activities and market trends, and keep current with industry developments.
- Assist senior management in the development and updating of the regional business plan.
- Thorough understanding of sales methodologies for new business acquisition, existing account growth, and churn mitigation.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Ad Hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in field sales, business development, and/or legal sales
- Meticulous updating of CRM/technology systems for all sales activity, such as internal/external activity, prospecting efforts, escalation efforts and sales expenses
- Ability to work onsite at the El Segundo office on Mondays
- Residence in Los Angeles, CA
- Reliable transportation for routes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal injury experience preferred
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills

- Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with others
