Position Description:
We are seeking an exceptionally organized Operations & Research Manager to oversee and enhance Rockpoint’s daily business functions. The ideal candidate has sharp analytical skills and extensive experience in legal operations, especially Docket Search workflows. This individual will manage complex processes, track performance metrics, execute direct mail campaigns, and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive growth and service quality. Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms is essential for implementing technology-driven solutions that streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Docket Searches across hundreds of jurisdictions; ensure timely and accurate extraction and integration of court data into campaigns;
- Leverage data from underwriting decisions to analyze lead quality, monitor lead performance across the funnel, and optimize intake and marketing strategies;
- Collaborate with legal staff to interpret docket data and align case movement with funding strategy;
- Build and maintain scalable workflows to mine, organize, and validate court data across hundreds of counties;
- Develop systems to aggregate and normalize docket data from disparate county sources;
- Design dashboards, track and report on KPIs, operational performance using dashboards and structured reporting;
- Work closely with leadership to analyze performance trends and develop research & operations recommendations;
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure on-time, quality execution of campaigns and services;
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to target and optimize audience segments
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline document handling, case evaluation, and marketing efforts, staying current on best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- 5 years’ experience in operations, legal funding, or direct response marketing;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience mining and working with court records, including civil case filings, docket activity, and structured legal data;
- Demonstrated proficiency in mining, aggregating, and validating records from several hundred counties simultaneously, with a focus on scale, accuracy, and automation;
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize direct mail campaigns using data-driven audience segmentation and performance tracking;
- Hands-on experience with Docket Searches and integrating court data into operational or marketing workflows;
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret underwriting and performance data to inform lead strategy and conversion funnel improvements;
- Proficient in KPI reporting, dashboard tools, and CRM systems;
- Skilled at managing vendors and cross-functional coordination (legal, sales, & marketing)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities;
- Experience with AI tools and workflow automation platforms to drive operational efficiency and innovation;
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, data-centric environment.
