What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Rockland Federal Credit Union?
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our people operations, with a strong emphasis on recruitment. You'll manage full cycle hiring processes, support onboarding, and contribute to broader HR initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interview schedules.
- Manage our applicant tracking system (Isolved) and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Maintain candidate and employee records and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide support to other HR functional areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years of HR experience with 1 year of recruiting experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ADP ISolved etc.).
- Data driven and analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
