Investigate and enforce solid waste, environmental health, and zoning code and issues notice violations, citations, demolition permits, and burning permits.
Advise citizens and customers of the ordinances and resolve issues.
Provide Security for the Government Building.
Operate as a Deputy Sheriff.
Provide security for Commissioner meetings, Planning Board meetings, and the Department of Social Services meetings.
Develop case files with evidence of crime to present to the legal team for court.
Provide the Department of Social Services with assistance during supervised visits.
Direct people who are in violation on compliance.
