Project Coordinator — Rocking P Blasting, St. George, UT
Rocking P Blasting is a drilling and blasting contractor working on major mining, quarry, and heavy-civil projects across Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, and New Mexico. We've doubled two years running and need someone to own the paperwork and logistics that keep multi-state crews moving.
You'll:
- Own the document flow on every active job — daily drill and blast reports, timecards, certified payroll, safety and EHS submittals — and make sure it's complete, correct, and in on time
- Do first-pass review before it reaches the Operations Manager; catch what's missing or wrong
- Handle crew travel: hotels, flights, rental vehicles, per diem tracking across 3–5 remote sites
- Maintain prequalification and compliance records (Avetta/ISNetworld, licensing, permits, insurance certs)
- Keep the office running so field managers can stay in the field
You have:
- 2 years in a construction, mining, or contractor office — project engineer, coordinator, or office manager
- Comfort with Excel, PDFs, and cloud file systems; you learn software fast
- Familiarity with certified payroll, prevailing wage, or safety documentation is a strong plus
- You notice when something's wrong before anyone tells you
- St. George area, in-office, full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
