What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Rocking Horse Ranch Resort and Splashdown Beach?
Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking an experienced Prep Cook. We are hiring for both AM and PM shifts. Weekend availability is required. The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen, serving up to 500 guests per meal
- Have high sanitation standards
- Have a flexible work schedule including weekends and all major holidays
- Be a strong team player who works in conjunction and cohesively with others and under the direction of the Executive Chef
- Have a passion for cooking & strong sense of pride
- Ability to follow established standard recipes
- Exhibit a positive can do attitude at all times
- Communicate in English effectively
- Possess at least 2 years of prep/line experience
