Payroll & Benefits Manager

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning all-inclusive resort in the Hudson Valley, is seeking a talented Payroll and Benefits Manager. This position will be responsible for the timely processing of payroll, administration of benefits, and assist in the handling of employee relations matters, and will also provide seasonal support for our sister property, SplashDown Beach Waterpark. 

Responsibilities

• Accurately process weekly payroll in a timely manner via Paycom, our payroll and benefits platform
• Remain up to date with federal and state compliance, including but not limited to the Department of Labor, Fair Labor Standards Act, and the EEOC
• Administer health benefits, Open Enrollment, and communication of changes to benefits
• Assist in the handling of any employee relations matters, supporting leadership in the investigative process
• Administer Profit Sharing and 401K plans with support from the accounting team
• Respond to employee inquiries as they relate to payroll and benefits
• Maintain Paycom to ensure accuracy of ACA tracking and other year-end reporting, such as third-party sick pay calculations
• Manage all leaves of absence administration and reporting, including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, NY Paid Family Leave, and Disability
• Provide ad hoc Paycom reporting to the accounting department and leadership 
• Review and reconcile payroll taxes, W2's, and 1095's
• Perform other various tasks including background checks, employment verifications, unemployment claims, etc.

Qualifications

• Several years of payroll, benefits, and human resources experience
• Experience with Paycom or similar software
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office suites, especially Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with an impeccable attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a team player

Salary : $30 - $35
