Rockhurst University is seeking applications for a part-time, 20 hours per week, Student Success Program Assistant. The Student Success Program Assistant enhances the effectiveness of the Student Success department by providing comprehensive administrative, communication, and operational support. The role ensures accurate record keeping, timely information flow, and coordinated services for students, faculty, and staff, with particular focus on Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and the SAS Testing Center. Through strong organization, attention to detail, and professional engagement, the Program Assistant helps maintain high-quality student support services and contributes to a responsive, mission‑driven departmental environment.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Support for the Student Success Department Provide comprehensive administrative support, including purchasing, budget coding, record keeping, staff onboarding, occasional front desk coverage, and other essential departmental operations.
Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Support Collaborate closely with the SAS Coordinator to support incoming and current SAS students. Responsibilities include managing documentation, coordinating communications with students and faculty, preparing and revising accommodation letters, and maintaining accurate records using Excel and Microsoft Teams.
SAS Testing Center Coordination Coordinate all aspects of the SAS alternative testing space in partnership with SAS and Learning Center staff. Duties include scheduling exams, managing communications with faculty and students, organizing and maintaining testing records, and serving as an exam proctor.
Student Proctor Oversight Assist the SAS Coordinator by monitoring and supporting the daily tasks, performance, and scheduling of student proctors to ensure smooth operation of testing services.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years higher-education or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, planning, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals.
- Effective project management skills; detail and deadline oriented.
