Duties
- Supervise the Financial Analyst.
- Oversee all payroll functions and the Payroll Specialist.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist the Comptroller with accounting close processes and reporting, grant expenditures and funding for procurements.
- Monitor and record accurate financial data and transactions.
- Assist in departmental operations including budget, audit, AFR, reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
- Prepare written correspondence, reports, and procedures.
Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, standards, processes, reporting and systems.
- Budget development and administration.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws governing public sector accounting.
- PerBasic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles and financial procedures forming mathematical calculations with skill and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience or familiarity with specialized financial software is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
