Work hours: 2pm-10pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating mill machine to produce manufacturing parts for processing/production. Use blueprints provided for specifications and configuration of parts.
Essential duties include but not limited to:
· Programming, set-up, and running jobs
· Select appropriate tools and materials for manufacturing of parts
· Machine part according to design specifications
· Check the C/L using CNN
· Operate machine for maximum efficiency
· Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of machines
· Accurate measurements for set-up
· Work closely with inspection to ensure quality
· Achieve quantity and quality production levels
· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team and cross functional departments
· Must be able to read blue prints and take accurate measurements utilizing a variety of instruments (gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
· Able to measure C/L
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
· Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
· Critical thinking skills to reason and identify solutions
· Able to read work documents and perform basic math
· Knowledge of the Motorsports/off road industry highly desired
· High school diploma or GED required
· Associate degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
