Duties
- Engage with clients to understand their interior design needs, preferences, and budgets through active communication and relationship building.
- Present product demos, lighting solutions, and layout designs.
- Drive outside and inside sales by upselling products such as Countertops, Cabinetry, fixtures, lighting, and remodeling services while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage client accounts within CRM systems to track project progress, preferences, and follow-up actions for ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to coordinate renovation projects, remodeling efforts, and fixture installations ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct merchandising activities including stock management, product demonstrations, and maintaining showroom displays to attract customers.
- Close deals efficiently by negotiating terms, writing countracts, handling POS transactions accurately, and ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail or construction sales with a focus on high-end markets; familiarity with remodeling, fixture sales, or construction experience is highly valued.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems for client management.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, deal closing, upselling techniques, and customer relationship building to foster long-term client loyalty.
- Knowledge of lighting design, layout planning, remodeling processes, maintenance procedures, and construction sales practices.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in client communication and project execution.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations including discounts, measurements, and cost estimates; experience with POS systems is preferred.
