About the Role
At Rocket EMS, we manufacture high-reliability printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for leading technology companies. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods; verify quantities and part numbers against packing lists and purchase orders.

Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies; escalate issues to Materials or Quality teams as needed.

Accurately log receipts into the ERP/MRP system and deliver materials to appropriate departments.

Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).

Generate shipping labels and documentation using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specified portals.

Schedule carrier pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring materials are properly identified and stored.

Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement transactions as needed.

Coordinate with production control, purchasing, and quality to resolve shipping/receiving issues quickly and accurately.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.

1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment).

Familiarity with ESD handling, barcoding, and labeling standards for electronic assemblies.

Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar platforms.

Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email) and ERP systems (experience with manufacturing software a plus).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
