Rocket Fizz is a unique retro candy and soda pop shop located at University Place, 575 E. University Pkwy, Orem, UT. The store carry an outrageous selection of more than 500 flavors of bottled sodas and 5000 different types of candy, including a selection of over 100 flavors of salt water taffy.
To be considered for employment, you must be able to work day, evening, weekend shifts and have availability to work at least 15-22 hours per week for PT and 28-34 for FT. Employees will be expected to assist customers in making selections, stock and rotate inventory, help customers through the checkout process and will be responsible for store maintenance. Meeting and welcoming customers in a friendly helpful manner is a must too!
Applicants should be experienced with computers and have basic Microsoft office skills. Applicants must be 18 or older, graduated high school and able to work both flexible day time and night time hours.
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
