The Role:We're looking for a Frontend Engineer with a strong background in TypeScript and modern front-end web applications. You'll work on touchscreen-enabled applications and customer-facing products, helping us deliver performant, scalable, and user-friendly experiences.
What You'll Do:- Build and maintain front-end applications using Vue 3 Composition API.- Optimize builds with Vite and Webpack.- Style interfaces with SCSS, Sass, and Tailwind CSS.- Write and maintain end-to-end tests with Playwright.- Instrument applications with Datadog analytics for performance and monitoring.- Implement feature flags and experiments with LaunchDarkly.- Collaborate with product managers and designers, and communicate clearly with distributed teammates.- Track and manage tasks in Jira.- Work on touchscreen-based interfaces, ensuring smooth usability and responsive layouts.
What We're Looking For:- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.- Proven experience with Vue 3 (Composition API preferred).- Familiarity with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack).- Strong knowledge of CSS methodologies (SCSS/Sass) and utility-first styling (Tailwind).- Experience writing automated tests (Playwright preferred).- Experience with analytics/observability tools (Datadog).- Experience with feature flagging systems (LaunchDarkly).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Comfortable working in an Agile/Jira-driven workflow.- Prior experience with touchscreen applications or kiosk-style interfaces is a big plus.- Understanding of Service Workers and offline-first web app strategies.- Experience and interest in exploring/integrating new AI tools & workflows.
Nice to Have:- Background in kiosk systems, interactive displays, or digital signage.- Experience integrating hardware with front-end applications.- Solid backend experience with Node.js (building APIs, integrations, and services).
