Location: Hybrid / Boulder, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Hybrid — in-office Mondays and Thursdays, remote Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays. Core hours 9 AM–5 PM (until 4 PM on Fridays).

What Role Will You Play?
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting and account-based engagement. This role reports into Marketing and works closely with Account Managers and Recruiters, serving as a bridge between marketing initiatives and frontline sales and recruiting activity. This is a sales role focused on research-driven outreach, multi-threaded account engagement, and clean lead handoff. The BDR will play a key role in expanding ROCKCREST's footprint with new clients.
Small team, big momentum. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with account managers, recruiters, and marketing — and your pipeline will be the engine behind our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Research accounts, identify website visitor activity, and map key stakeholders using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Multi-thread into target accounts by engaging multiple HR decision-makers (CHRO, VP of HR, HR Directors, HR leaders)
- Craft and execute high-quality written outreach tailored to persona and industry
- Leverage intent data, website signals, and marketing content to improve relevance and response rates
- Conduct initial qualification conversations to book meetings for Account Managers
- Ensure clean, timely lead handoff with strong context and notes in CRM
- Track activity and performance consistently within CRM
Collaboration & Growth
- Partner closely with Marketing to align outreach with campaigns, content, and other initiatives
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Recruiters to support account priorities and pipeline strategy
- Test new outreach channels and platforms, including relevant HR and HR Tech communities
- Share market feedback and insights to continuously improve messaging and targeting
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, recruitment sales, or related roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success in cold outreach
- Proven ability to initiate and manage outbound conversations with senior stakeholders
- Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated by activity and pipeline goals
- Coachable, curious, and comfortable operating in a test-and-learn environment
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Nice to Have
- Advanced ZoomInfo proficiency, particularly with account research and intent-based prospecting
- Familiarity with HR Tech, HRIS platforms, or the HR buyer landscape
- Experience working with intent data and website visitor signals
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting base pay of $65K uncapped commission (1st year OTE $130–150K)
