Position Responsibilities
Probationary Period: All persons that are newly hired, rehired, transferred, promoted, or demoted into a Rockbridge Area Community Services position must serve a new 6-month probationary period.

Position Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral interventions and therapeutic support to students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective support strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards
- Advocate for students by connecting them to appropriate community resources
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field required; mental health or social work focus preferred.
- One to three years working with children/adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred.
- QMHP or QMHP-Trainee status (or eligibility) with the Virginia Board of Health Professions is preferred.
- Strong communication, case management, problem-solving, and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid Virginia driver's license and safe driving record per RACS policies.
