Position Description
The Family Support Partner (FSP) is a key member of the Community Based Behavioral Health and Prevention Services team. This role provides education, guidance, and support to families of children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them navigate complex social, legal, educational, and healthcare systems.
Following completion of training and orientation, the FSP delivers family-to-family support through advocacy, coaching, education, and resource coordination. Responsibilities include providing accurate information, connecting families to appropriate services and referrals, and ensuring ongoing follow-up to support families in accessing and sustaining needed care.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred; required within six months of hire
- Personal, lived experience as a primary caregiver of a youth, adolescent, or young adult who has/had mental health needs is required
- Prior experience assisting other families to obtain appropriate services and supports for their child and family members is desirable
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record in accordance with RACS policies
