Qualifications
Certification and Qualifications for Teachers
Degree in appropriate field of study from an accredited institution
Ability to teach vocal and instrumental music to students in full class and lesson settings
Effective instructional practices and strategies
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
Must be reliable and of good moral character.
Must meet criminal background check.
Working Conditions: Part Time Tenure Track Position (0.6 FTE)
Salary: Ranges from $38,097.00 - 64,617.00 (60% of salary per step on guide)
Per Negotiated Contract (p. 42)
Benefits include: 12 sick days and 6 nonwork days
State Pension
