Position Overview
As an Onsite Construction Superintendent, you will drive daily field production, lead
heavy civil crews, and ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within
budget. You will serve as the primary operational leader on site, managing up to 20-man
crews, coordinating massive specialty rigs, and maintaining excellent client
relationships.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Operations & Crew Management: Lead, manage, hire, and train crews of up to 20
workers for specific field tasks.
Project Controls: Create, review, and adjust project schedules. Implement daily
and project-total production goals and budget requirements.
Production Analysis: Continuously review and address project items related to
production goals, manpower, or equipment efficiency.
Financial Oversight: Perform estimating and detailed cost breakdown analyses
to prepare and execute project change orders.
Client Relations: Represent Rock Supremacy proudly on site and maintain
outstanding, professional relationships with our clients.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 15 years in Heavy Civil Construction, with a minimum of 7 years of
specific experience as a superintendent or foreman.
Drilling Expertise: 3–5 years of direct drilling experience using Down-the-Hole
(DTH) and Top Hammers.
Specialized Domain: Proven experience in earth retention, retaining walls, soil
mixing, and/or foundation drilling projects.
Drilling Specifications: Direct experience with hole diameters ranging from 3” to
36” for vertical drilling, and horizontal drilling up to 150’ in depth.
Technical Knowledge: Deep technical proficiency associated with soil nail/tie-
back operations, caisson drilling methods, jet grouting, micropiles, and shotcrete.
Equipment Mastery: Extensive knowledge in operating and maintaining large
foundation rigs, tie-back drills, dual rotary, grouting, and concrete equipment.
Plan Proficiency: Highly proficient in reading, interpreting, and comprehending
complex project plans and specifications.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to stay calm, collected, and highly organized in high-
stress, fast-paced field environments.
Tech & Compliance: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must possess a
valid Driver's License and pass an initial background check and drug screening.
Pay: From $145,000.00 per year
