Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Landscape Construction & Mason Crew Member. This hands-on role supports our construction crew on job sites performing various tasks in masonry, hardscape, fencing, and installations with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, is reliable, organized and takes directions well.
Duties
- Assist with daily landscape construction tasks including hardscape, masonry, fencing, and planting installations
- Work closely with the Crew Leader and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Follow direction and complete assigned tasks accurately and safely
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Assist with site preparation including grading, excavation, and material installation
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Support daily cleanup of jobsites, trucks, trailers, and shop/yard areas
- Communicate any issues or needs to the Crew Leader or management
Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the landscape construction industry
- Basic knowledge of landscape construction practices including hardscape, masonry, carpentry, and planting
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to use a smartphone for communication and job-related tasks
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
