FORD JOURNEYMAN TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ford Journeyman Technician to join our automotive service team. Potential to earn up to $150k per year depending on certificates, skills, and training.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain vehicles with a focus on powertrain systems, engines, and vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed in accordance with dealership standards.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience as a Ford Journeyman Technician or equivalent mechanic role with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS systems calibration, alignment procedures, and vehicle electrical repairs.
- Mechanical expertise across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, brakes, suspension, and auto body repair.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of automotive service procedures with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certifications/working toward certification or experience related to Ford vehicles or similar brands is required.
